As the Director of Human Resources at Galt Insurance Group, Sara works to unify the agency’s sales and service departments with a focus on talent acquisition, development, retention, general compliance, and community involvement. Sara is a SHRM Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-CP) and a licensed insurance agent, holding her 2-20 General Lines insurance license and her 2-15 Life Including Variable Annuity & Health license. Her credentials, knowledge, and experience have contributed to the formalization of the agency's policies and procedures, propelling its aspirations to scale and expand globally.
Sara is a Naples native. She is a graduate of Barron Collier High School and continued her studies in Communications while attending Florida Gulf Coast University. Her professional experiences began with her career in financial services. Sara quickly became a top-performing Licensed Personal Banker and Membership Banking specialist. She would frequently provide financial wellness and education presentations to various employers, groups, and organizations around the community.
Utilizing the insurance licenses procured, Sara later transitioned her career from banking to insurance. With her focus on organization, efficiency, and customer service, she earned the title of Vice President of Client Services. Then, with her continued dedication to the growth and development of Galt Insurance Group, her position has evolved into her current role as director of Human Resources.
Sara enjoys serving her community and is always eager to contribute to its local organizations. Most recently, she has dedicated her time to HR Collier, Leadership Collier Foundation, Friends of Foster Children, STARability Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity. Sara is currently serving as the VP of Membership for HR Collier, a local SHRM chapter. In the past, she has also served on the board of the Insurance Professionals of Collier County.
Sara continues to enjoy cultivating new relationships, with a natural desire to bring the best out of those around her. She believes that better workplaces truly create a better world.
